Divine Warrior

DIVINE WARRIOR It certainly is a real English name And true English, of Angle origin But some may say, Viking Norse There are two name components God and Bear, or Divine Warrior Like King Arthur’s coat of arms But more in Essex than his Wessex Yet 11th century Viking influence From William’s Norman invasion Brought prominence to the name Yet in slightly more modern times A famous sherry made in Cadiz A black bull symbol everywhere And unofficial Spanish emblem But the name continues strongly From playwright to laptop maker Recently extending to Exchequer A name that has secured its place And that I am still proud to own
