Note: Afflatus - a writer's inspiration, unique to them coming from, for example, their MUSE.

Leaves of Autumn, burnt orange, yellow, red, gold, strewn on the ground decaying, caressed by wild breezes, rusty colors wilting, crumbling, dying. I love the smell, the veins and patterns, and gathering many to my heart, I preserve them and press them in my books. ------------ September 28, 2016 ------------- Verse Submitted to the contest, Old or New, 10 Lines sponsor, Rick Parise Fourth Place (afflatus means poetic inspiration)

I see now what you mean when you encourage creative formatting - when done perfectly as you've done here it done makes it a spectacular overall body of work. Certainly something to emulate that might even serve as affatus(?) A high 7 for sure
