Distractions

Distractions..
Arrive
Enters one's state of mind..
Focus had become sabatoged..
A wondering mind thinks contstant fears .
Worrisome days and nights

Distractions  multiply..
When they arise one is blinded by beauty

Drowning in distractions..

Cannot see..
Breathtaking cloud formations..
The turquoise color of the sea..
With the reflection of the sun..
Raindrops falling onto a leaf
Snow capped mountain peaks
Landscapes
Sunrise 
Sunset 

Cannot feel..
The warmth of the sun .
A sprinkle of rain..
A cool balmy breeze..
A gentle touch..

Cannot hear..
The magnificent sounds of nature
The splendor of music..
A loving expression..
Words of inspiration
As grace unfolds..

Cannot touch..
A warm loving hand..
Or..
Another..

All while drowning in distractions..

Joe Dimino Date: 8/26/2020 5:47:00 AM Well said; the devil and his electronic toys is the master of distraction. Seems like folks now-days are fearful to be alone with their thoughts. You obviously are not, and long to be free. I know, I deal with the same thing every day. Music in every mall -- colors and ribbons to make you buy.... Love ones, the most difficult to shut out.
