alone i walk the lengths of this world
you’ve been gone forever and a day
you didn’t say you’d be gone an eternity
when you last said your goodbyes
i wander here alone in my wilderness
while you’re out there on the other side
i walk around chasing the light
in a sky that clocks the time
meanwhile i shed my tears of dew
wondering when again i’ll be with you
