Distanced

on the edges
of every dream
you stood

my salvation
from pain
wiping free
my lonely tears

your lambency shined
like a beacon
guiding me
through darkness

your wings
comforted,
shielded me

a kiss
blown
on wishes
adrift
in the winds
that held you
closer

i taste you
on my lips
as you part
through my tears

on the edges
of dreams
you stand
distanced

i reach for you
as my hands slip
through air

this blade
pierces my heart
through the fog
lifting me 
into my salvation
from pain

A cousin on my moms side my nieces step dad ( after she lost my brother her mom remarried but I had know him for years) a few of the kids friends that were like kids to me and some coworkers one I was very close with the youngest of them was 21 one was 28 one was 29 I write it out it helps Thanks John :) hugs
