Why should we get put down Who call out a miserable bully? She who longs for a notable crown, Finding delight in criticizing us fully, Picking on folks who are successful Enjoying our time here at the Soup, Making for some of our lives stressful Dishing out nasty like a nincompoop! Ya know…when we write about bullies, trolls, habitual harassment, etc, it really riles me that people say things like, take the high road, move on, don’t let them get to you, or ignore them. After more days than a year of being called names I have no problem with getting off the high road and dishing out a little nasty of my own that might knock a bully off her/his high horse! Could be that’s worth the lines in a poem.

Thank you, Jenna. I know that we have worked hard to get this type of stuff stopped, and we have succeeded in some cases. But, we still have one case where she continues to dig at folks on a regular basis. It's uncalled for. I wish some of her "friends" would call her out. They'd find out just how hurtful she is.

If you've got nothing good to say about folk then you should keep it shut. It should be on a big sign in every school, help make the world a better place. Tom

Absolutely, Tom, I agree. So, can you suggest how we can get this woman to stop bullying people? I can name at least five people who have soup-mailed me wanting to know how we can get this stopped. I don't know how.

Moving on an option? Bullies typically don't care about their prey's mindset. Nincompoop or no, just a single mind's opinion. Write on, Mr. Milton. ~;o)

Granted it is frustrating but no where near a child being beat up in a school yard. Internet bullies are phantoms who shouldn't get anybody's goat. I will recede now. Take good care.

Thank you, Arlo. Yes, moving on is an option. But, tell that to the kid who is getting beaten up. There is a woman on here who persists in spewing venom in a hurtful way to anyone she doesn't like, for whatever reason. That venom settles into constant nigging and throwing shade in almost all of her "poems." We take a lot, then, we feel a need to tell her how we feel. I'd love to do it in a Soup Mail, but she has me blocked. We have no way to reach her unless, maybe, she reads our rebuttals!
