Discovering You

To get your attention, I’d sing in the rain I’d dance on the tracks and tease a freight train Write a benevolent poem of grandiloquence, pining and craving for your amiable presence. I’d win the lottery and give it away, then beg for change on a corner all day, to buy a rose to pin to your clothes, I’d have spent it all on you anyway Then When I have you I’d fold you up, tear you apart, stuff you in a bottle and cross my heart, fling you to the horizon where all the waves start, I’d patiently wait for you to return to me then, I’d get to discover you all over again

This thought is so beautiful and romantic. "to discover you all over again." . . . And that's how it should be. My heart is drifting along the clouds, while reading your words. The last stanza was a bit different from what I was expecting, but it wraps around your thoughts perfectly. :) Brandy
