Disaster

It's not a disaster, it never is It's a waiting time, pending analysis Weighed up, perhaps we learnt a lot (I'm in the camp of learning not a jot) Except it was a non event (my brain advised) Told me to be quiet, not to give rise To any unrest or unnecessary strain Conserve my energy, blot out pain For that's survival instinct, good advice Take in surroundings, see what's nice Put some angles down on paper Put it aside to consider later Next time I'll be prepared, handle it better I let myself down, I'll plan to the letter Make sure I've not forgotten any lessons too It's keep calm isn't it? That's what I'll do Actually I feel like I'm coming round Who's talking above, an absolute clown! I'll take it a step at a time, figure out the path But I won't plan to sit and cry in the aftermath
