Disappearing Into the World
I feel myself disappearing into the world fading faster each second. I feel my flesh fade from the sight of mortal eyes, my blood dries to crimson dust, and I feel everything slipping away, a little each day along the way.
Disappearing from plain sight you see me shifting in the warm hues of light and cool shadows of twilight coming in like raven wings.
I feel my bones slide into the world next to the place beyond the pale, a few degrees of separation, a shift from our own passing into the void, next.
The oblivion between the birth of seconds and the death of hours, disappearing into the world, a world beyond the next, I see your small smile, your eyes slip past me to the region over my shoulder beyond the pale of what is and was or will be.
I feel your heat fade from my lips, your touch dies from my fingertips, as I disappear into the world next past the horizon of reality, earth, and stone of flesh and blood, and crumbling bone.
I pass into the veil beyond oblivion birth of seconds and the death of hours, disappearing into the world beyond this and the next.
