People are friendly whenever I’m lost And helpful with giving advice. It’s always worth asking when signals get crossed And often, you needn’t ask twice. New Yorkers are given a negative rap For attitudes callous and mean But all who have knowledge I might want to tap Make their help appear rather routine. So if stuck without knowing which way you should go Scan the crowd for the friendliest face And most likely, you’ll find yourself back in the know, Never seeking a wild goose to chase.

People look on their I pads and tell you where to walk and what train to get one! The other day I dropped my glasses onto the subway track and a man jumped down on the tracks and go them for me! A stranger once saved my life in the city. We don't deserve a bad rap! Check out my Passover poem! Peace &Love Matthew Anish

Someone is always willing to help...I was at the train today and helped an out-of-towner with directions to the closest Walmart
