'dianna'

The pain is gone as God now holds her close..
Way to young to go but cancer was her foe..
An angel now in Heaven watching us through
a glassy mirror in peace..
Forever under her sweet sight , her touch and
warmth is now for God to please..
My sister Dianna who's beauty shined to all who
she came across...
Now lays in heaven surrounded by flowers watching
down on those who still feel her loss...
No more Doctors , no more pain..
When the time has come we all be the same..

Don't know how I missed this, Michael. But when one's away from soup for a day, many poems scroll by pretty fast. Congratulations on your fine win with this poignant piece.. And yes, she's free from pain and all this strife..and peace be unto you as you will be seeing her again some day. Love and peace, Annalise

Michael, don't know how I missed this, but then again, poems roll by so fast sometimes...you miss a day off Soup and you miss a lot! Anyway, congratulations are in order for this poignant write. Peace to you as you will see her again one day. And yes, she is free as when God first made her! Love, Annalise

A beautiful write; I cry for the ones who lose the fight but am greatful I am still here. My heart goes out to you for your loss. I especially liked the line, "When the time has come we all be the same". I enjoyed the read. Good luck in the contest.

Sorry about your loss..It is very painful to lose someone that close to us..I hope that you have felt healing in writing your words of love for her..."Rose Sunset On Flint"...There was a sunset and moon rising at the same time one on my right and one on my left..The scene was the Flint River. Thanks for stopping by and reading my work...Sara
