Diamond's Spoon-Less Knights

Like facets of a diamond when held to light,
or ice cream eaten without want or need of spoon.
Visions pass as history regales the knight,
and search continues for the dark side of the moon.

I wouldn't have equated wanton ice cream eating to the mystery of a diamond but that is why I like your poems - so unusually perceptive!

Thanks, it's utter nonsense until you realize that ice cream can be consumed in a cone while wearing armour. "A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men." -Willy Wonka

Heidi, Thank you I hope your Sunday was as nice as mine. I talked to my brother in Pittsurgh yesterday. He's enjoyed many a walk with daughter & pup since the COVID came. He sends his love & regards as do I. -Richard
