Developments
Storm heads rule the crying sky
and deluge flood the field,
lightning flash to amplify
an ozone sated yield.
Rivers break their straining banks
and surge into the boiling seas,
northern winds attack the flanks
with howling harmonies.
The gradual developments
of nature carving out a niche,
a cauldron seethe of elements
all straining at the leash.
From tiny atoms love may grow,
from friendship feelings form,
and placid patience overflow,
become a raging storm.
Upon the wings of passion ride
emotions' screaming jet;
true love cannot be cast aside,
nor be forgotten yet...
