Destiny's Plea
There is much to be heard about destiny;
About visions and dreams into infinity
The quest must stress before the rest
Graduation follows a trail of many a test
We see the ocean shores after the high seas
God never promised a care-free life of ease
A story is told of an ant whose attempt at scaling
A wall with a grain of corn brought him many failures
He continued in his stride and refused to be denied
The little ant tried and tried, and though weary and tired,
Sixty-nine times he failed, but succeeded with number 70
Destiny awaits, but pleads that we skip no step in our climb.
