Desires

"Whatever my eyes desired I did not keep from them". King Solomon* Yes, the devil does plenty, but did he really make me do that? I have both free will and a free choice to say 'yea or nay'. I am subject to harassment by both the devil and my desires. Desires to enter doors that shouldn't be opened; Desires about which little is ever written; Desires that seem harmless as kittens; Desires that are hideous and hidden; Desires that are sorely forbidden; Desires of which we are frightened; Desires by which we are smitten; Desires by which we are bitten; Desires by which we are driven; Desires giving little, but much is taken; Desires whose playing field is always uneven; Desires that deceive and only lead to prison; Desires that short-change and blind our vision; Desires that are repugnant, causing great caution; Desires that create divisions and cause great tension. Desires can be cured, but it's better if there is prevention; Desires may prey upon the innocent, causing havoc and friction; I am averse to such who see everyone's fault except their own. I have an aversion to long-winded speakers and attention seekers. I have problems with greed and any who is opposed to love and generosity. I am averse to those who are overly optimistic at the expense of reality. 092722PSCtest, Desires And Aversions. Unseeking Seeker *Ecclesiastes 2:10a
