Depression

Depression Let me tell you for a fact this not a place to be your body and mind not entwined your feelings are rushing of sad in a deep hole like a water well there is some light above your head too heavy to see when in bed your heavy head can close the door to reality getting up from bed is such a task trying to put on a happy mask hoping the day will pass You know it is coming you know it will pass this illness has no laugh

Hi Niall. I suffer from MDD and much more, and I can absolutely relate to what you write here. And it is as Elissa says, we are with many here. You, take good care of yourself

I hate those days. I always try to keep my self-talk up. I guess my mom taught me that in kindergarten :)

Good write Niall! I think this is a fairly common theme among many poets, but I really like the way you phrased it. Good job!

Thankfully I don't suffer with depression, it must be so debilitating, I've had the odd sad day when I don't want to get out of bed but never in the deep whole you write of. Very emotive Niall.
