Delphic

“The forest is my loyal friend. A Delphic shrine to me.” - Ralph Waldo Emerson The forest is a home, A place for my mind to roam, Its doors are always open to me, To its abode, I’d rather flee. I find solace in the forest, My troubled mind comes to rest, Light pierces through the gloom, Hope comes to my room. The forest has its mystery in the serenity it brings, The soul soars on joyful wings, Nature guides the stumbling feet, It's wonderful to come and meet. The forest welcomes me to its abode, I find a tranquil road. I’m out of the hold of the night, I see a perpetual light. May 17, 2024.
