how lucky is a human in their cause
to happen on occasion such as this?
a palette sky to give their heart a pause
as blushing, it receives an ocean kiss
the late-day sun, a lemon drop of bright
to melt upon the pink tongue of the sea
a great expanse of colors bleeding night
as glinting stars above dance fancy-free
o reach-to-reach the vista takes my breath
as every shade conceived adorns the sky
and just, it is, that day should find its death
with beauty such that words can't justify …
how perfect would it be to thus commend
that every day may find such wondrous end?
