Deja Vu

The day began like any other Yet somehow, I had seen this day before, It reminded me of another From the days of yore Even the clouds looked the same As they sailed by in skies of blue It imbued enchantment when it came As I searched the past for a clue A day had returned from the past As if to turn back the hands of time distant memories it now cast As I tried to find the reason from the rhyme Which day was this that had returned? Was it a summer day I once knew? Was it a day of which I yearned? Or simply just, my deja vu 2-21-2023
