Defiant Sun
Defiant Sun
As the day ends, dark, mountain like clouds, suddenly appear
Blocking our sunset view, ominous shadows inspire fear
Suddenly, a bright, white light shines forth, coming from behind
Outlining presumptuous clouds shape, ever so sublime
White lights glimmer, shining brightly, beckoning to the sun
"the day is not quite done, please, blaze forth O Majestic One"!
Defiant Sun shines, penetrates a hole in clouds defense
With blazing bursts of golden light, smoking hot like incense.
Weaknesses in clouds defenses, having now been exposed
Sun bursts, now ignite the blue sky, as rebel clouds explode
Clouds shred and dissipate into shards of silver and gold
These eyes of mine cannot process, these wonders I behold.
Proud clouds, could not enshroud, epic battle could not be won
The lesson has been learned, do not challenge Defiant Sun!
