It was unabashedly a canvas of blue at dawn,           with pristine petals of white everywhere,          then the intruder petals enveloped the horizon,          rejoicing hide-and seek with hues of colours.             Languishing on the bed gazing at the wide expanse...            then to my dismay, it turned into grey,            with a hint of scintillating spark in the east,             can I let that irresistible palette of delight fade away!       The rose plant got decked up overnight,          tiny green leaves frolicking playfully at every branch,           majestic evergreen and charismatic maple swaying,           refreshing breeze is tenderly cool and calm.            Blue is not going to be defeated                   and overshadowed,           it's reappearing with a gleeful smile,          my day is triumphantly non-blue even though           I did not see my coveted sun!  October 29, 2021 For " BLUE" Poetry Contest Sponsor: Mystic Rose Rose

Delightful penning on the robust strength of blue skies - never completely covered up for too long and always returning to balance out the grey! Your words have such joy in them even when experiencing greyness! Best wishes for the contest. Blessings and hugs dear friend.
