Defeat Taking Turns

Shadows echoing away,
Resting for another day.
Looking aside,
Letting my heart abide.
Taking in the airs,
That whistle through the chairs.
Mercy fading into my hands,
Loosing my defeat by strands.
Learing myself away,
From the evil that eats my day.
Defeat not coming to thy self,
But to whom who stands from a different shelf.
