Deeper Walk - Mirror

"As you live deeper in the heart, the mirror gets clearer and cleaner." - Rumi As the heart opens the door through the night, As it embraces the piercing light, Some things begin to unfold, The tiny prints become bold. Further walking through the gloomy meadow, Away we go from the stygian shadow, Closer we are to redemption, And the puzzle comes to completion. Some things don’t show without a deeper walk, They lie in silence, they don’t talk, They’re mysteries in the deep, Some of which we don’t see until our final sleep. As we journey on life’s lane, Under dark skies and in the rain, We’ll get to a place where the mirror becomes clearer, Then we’ll know perpetual light is nearer. May 1, 2024.
