The rich orange sun is beaming, We are lost in summer's wild days; And gardens and parks are teeming. The rich orange sun is beaming. The moon is asleep and dreaming. We are in a sweet redbird phase! The rich orange sun is beaming. We are lost in summer's wild days.

Yes, parks provide beauty and much needed shade during the summer months. Thank you for your thoughts, my friend.

A lovely triolet. It's early morning here and the temperature is already 88 F. Watering plants is essential. Blessings.

WoW! Evelyn, You captured a beautiful Summer day very well in your well-written Triolet. You pick good pictures to accompany poems. What is the process? Is your poem already written, and you look for a photo? Or is it the other way around? I enjoyed the read. Have a great evening:-) Alexis

Thank you very much for your delightful remarks, Alexis. To answer your question, I usually need at least the theme or title of the poem before I search for a picture. Typically, I will search for the picture before the poem is written, when it's in the midst of being written, or after it is written entirely. On much rarer occasions, a picture can inspire the title, the theme, and the entire poem. The picture accompanying this poem, was chosen just after the title was created. I am so glad you enjoyed this, Alexis. Have a wonderful day, Evelyn :D
