Past Did Disappear
What if our actions were all suspended,
And career we once had completely ended;
Sad and disappointed were people we knew
Along with attention and attendance we drew.
Famous and well recognized may become;
Below Jesus's table do not deserve a crumb,
While we forge on and away and are forgetting;
Yet, go of it all surely do want to be letting.
Days and hands of time proceed on and on
Up until the dreary day that we will be gone;
(Edgar Allan Poe.)
Before did die took breath that was our last,
Totally disappeared all of each prior past.
