Long underwear time?…. Hmm… I thought that was July! ;-) I don’t do long underwear… unfortunately, we sex symbols have to stick to skimpy briefs. It’s a hard life but we must suffer for our cause. No photo provided! Seriously though.. a nice, amusing, senryu. Terry

I appreciate your visit, Terry, and for your light-hearted and witty comments--they brought a smile to my face. Sorry you have to make such a sacrifice with your 'skimpies' as my hubby calls them! Ha! I'm always grateful for both your poems and your visits. Have a splendid week, Sara

we'll have to get out our thermals as well...27 degrees today and a blustery northern wind...gloves a necessity too. Merry Christmas! hugs, Sara

thanks, Silent One, for your kind words about my Haiku. You'd be surprised...sometimes we do need thermals in Texas...in January/February if we're hit with an ice storm. Gloves are definitely necessary! :-) smiles for today, Sara

Dear Sara. In this magnificent Senryu, you expertly expressed the need for weather-appropriate gear. Colorful depictions of December's arrival and a chilly breeze make an impact. You wisely advise wearing long underwear at this time of year.

thanks for you holiday visit, dearest Sotto. Today we have more than a 'chilly' breeze. Blustery north winds and 27 degrees without the wind chill factor. BURRRR indeed. Hope your holiday is festive, your poetess friend in Texas, Sara

A great poem with an important message; always dress for the weather. Beautiful blue tones of the photo add a depth of chill.
