Death Is a Listening Manner

Are you glad to be alive? Or glad rather to be surviving it? Because being glad, you need to have drive Because surviving, you have no motivating need I would say we are sometimes both Because both are reasons begging to live Yet begging to live isn't even what we are close Why are there not even reasons for death to believe? You need to be dead to be heard You cannot be more alive to listen An untimely manner for death will word That untimely manner of life left broken I am alive and ask me questions you will not I am alive and we have so much time... I am dead and who would've thought I am dead and moments no more will you find... Are you not glad to be alive? Or not glad rather to be surviving it? Because not being glad, you have no drive Because barely surviving... is a motivation need
