Death Did Become My Sad Demise
Death Did Become My Demise
From God to me a message was sent,
While wind had sailed through my tent;
Horrors of war are always sad to see;
One of them dead one day could be me.
My home for me know always will await;
May be early morning or in the day late;
Right now is peaceful and quiet around,
As is still will sit here so safe and sound.
Something recently happened hard to bare;
A bullet had started sailing through the air,
And was filled with agony I then did realize;
Death soon did seem to be my sad demise.
