Dear Fellow Poet

Dear Fellow Poet Dear fellow poet, if I may intrude on your writing and solitude, and this question to you pose: Are you, by chance, one of those who lives with the possibility of never gaining immortality? And which thought racks your mind as it did once long ago even mine? Your chances, I say, with no hesitation, are lesser than reincarnation. Or would you consider without shame Warhol’s fifteen minutes of fame than nothing? If so, it just might be enough to keep you writing poetry.
