Dear April
dear april,
this is just a note
to let you know
my heart is aching
and it really shows
i look at your pictures
and see your smiles
i think of you
and it helps a while
your eyes seem to
stare at me
as if to say something
a look that says so errily
"i'm in heaven because i believed"
i wonder if you have
a picture of me
is it sad or is it happy
i wonder if you know
how i feel right now
the something on my face
is not a smile
a runny nose
to match my eyes
a head bowed over
while it cries
now you have a picture of me
