Dear, I Can Do Better
You can sit there
Glare at me with your frown
Dear, I can do better
All you do is drag me down
Your words don’t hurt me
I’ve grown accustomed to their use
I’ll ignore you
So I don’t deplore you for the abuse
Your forced tears don’t faze me
As I’m walking out the door
Today, I awoke to realize
I don’t need you anymore
