Dealing With Now
Dealing with Now,
Requires removal of rose-tinted glasses somehow,
And not going wow.
Dealing with Now,
Requires watching more than one show,
And not taking an early bow.
Dealing with Now,
Does not require focusing on a past row,
Or relying on a future with no connection to now.
Dealing with Now,
Does not require many rain checks to find out how,
Or to see the wind will now blow.
Dealing with Now,
Requires no crystal ball for a future show,
Or baggage in tow.
