Daydreaming Girl
Through the amorous forest, path of illumination,
cascading slopes of miniature waterfalls,
treasury of trees, spreading their arbor, hilly
rocks for a daydreaming girl to sit upon. Lantern,
like lightning bugs.
The essence of fairy mirth.
The teen is pretty in her cream-colored nightgown,
honey-blonde tresses twisted and clipped.
Her arms wrap around bent knees.
Her contemplation of reality, it’s ethereal
in this wholesome clip of paradise.
Sweet honesty wonders what life will be.
Momentum whispers of love, friendship,
and adventure. Hem of her nightie dips
into the wet, like an underwater iceberg
before life gets real.
She’s a moonlight silhouette.
