Day One
tonight i will say goodbye
to my family, to my friends,
to my co-workers, to my community
because i may not be here tomorrow
oh don't worry its not bad like
me dying or being sentence to jail
but its at the level of importance
in my heart
tonight i say my last farewell to my
old life, my old problems, my old struggles
and look on the brighter side of tomorrow
just because thats another day that has so much
value with no cost
tonight i put don't my problems once and for all
as i step in this room and more off day one
