Dawn's Walk

A walk in the dawn, I yawn and then see a fawn. There is the sun, which is fun and weighs a ton. This is the day, okay, to see the bay. There is dew, a beautiful hue, and a pretty sprouting few. A meadow of grass, emerald fields of brass. A bird is in a tree, along with a bee, this I see. All is waking up. Tulips are stretching, butterflies are catching And frogs are watching. Wild flowers are in, their varied flowers are around the bin, and win. The journey has begun, life has won. Keen observation poetry contest. Funom Makama 8/12/20
