Dawnlight
Hurl of new dawn
In burst of light;
Surge of bright morn
In awesome sight.
Joy in fond light
Springs out to greet;
Touch of sure flight
That feels most sweet.
Moist dew on grass
With fresh new air;
A touch of class
In charm most fair.
The world now wakes
To a new day;
In a sure make
Of warmth that stays.
Come let us rise
To trade and quest;
Time to be wise
To dance life's zest.
Heed the clear call
As nature flings;
Heed one and all
The rites of spring.
Go live your fest
In craft and art;
Love knows what's best
For mind and heart.
