Dawn of January First
D-awn of January first
O-pens the break of day;
N-ew year is about to start,
N-ine more days
A-way.
D-awn of January first
E-ndorses a ray of light;
L-ife will be beautiful,
O-nce hope is in
S-ight.
S-unday December thirty-first
A-ims to say good-bye;
N-o way will it bring darkness
T-o December twenty-second sky.
O-n the one final night, the fireworks wil burst;
S-un will shine on Monday, dawn of January first.
