Dark Moonlight

Staring at the moonlight I say to myself: What a dark world this is all the wars and fights why can't there just be peace and light? It makes me wonder why am I in this world? Sometimes I feel like I just want to hide. Londyn, my 10yr old granddaughter wrote today 2/28/2017 5pm

Hello Debbie. Good Morning. I didn't know I would be reading a young poetess this morning. Wow. I'm impressed. She will be giving us all much to look forward to if she continue to compose. Her entry and expression is very mature. Thank you for sharing your granddaughter and her work. Have a wonderful day.

She is on target. Say hello for me and tell her that I think the answer she is seeking is hers to discover. Our life is a beautiful gift even though so many others don't realize it.

Wow, Debbie, the first time around I think I missed the fact that Londyn wrote it. Not sure how that was accomplished, but I managed. I'm grateful to her - makes me glad there are young people in the world who have such thoughts. "why am I in this world?" A great question for any age, and a foundation for philosophy.

Sadness in the world, aye, Debbie, but still all the better for having that moonlight.
