Dark Masquerade
Lace mask lowered lashes in the dark
painting the faces of this masquerade,
court jesters and shy dancers in the night;
Ball gowns and symphonies waltz all night
smiles and whispers captured by the dark,
melodic magic of the masquerade;
So free the canvas of a masquerade,
shy belle twirls as she whirls with the night
Leaving a mark found herself in the dark;
Dancing on a dark masquerade night.
