Here is my favorite dandelion tea. It has a wonderful flavor and is awesomely healthful. I mix it with my sleepy time tea at night and add honey. I don't drink coffee but I think it kind of has a bit of a coffee flavor to it/  Also, if you check a health food store, you can get it sometimes on sale at much better prices, but one huge bag would last you all year:

The first to visit folks in spring with my pretty yellow, I can even pollinate myself without the bees! If you try to mow me down, I will still stay mellow, and when dried, I fluff myself and fly out on the breeze. For miles I can travel on my hundred seeds. That’s how I can take control and cover lots of fields! Some moisture and some soil will meet most of my needs. Once I’ve taken root, more and more I give my yields! For rooted into ground, I tap sun’s energy. I make some leaves that multiply like rabbits. Not too easily can you rid your grass of me. Make wine or tea of me. Adopt some great new habits! Cute; good luck in the contest. I like to make my own tea from the dandelions in the yard; the leaves are great in salads too. The dandelion is a very powerful diuretic, too.

Love this! It is full of information and teaches us a few things new about the Dandelion as well as the literary contribution. I love that you anthropomorphized the little flower. Tea, wine, and don’t forget the young leaves in salads. Good Write!

Andrea, out of all the dandelion poems including mine, I think this is my favorite LINE: "I make some leaves that multiply like rabbits." Love it!

It's best not to fight them, just accept them for what they are. Nice poem. Have a great day.
