Dandelion Am I
The first to visit folks in spring with my pretty yellow, I can even pollinate myself without the bees! If you try to mow me down, I will still stay mellow, and when dried, I fluff myself and fly out on the breeze. For miles I can travel on my hundred seeds. That’s how I can take control and cover lots of fields! Some moisture and some soil will meet most of my needs. Once I’ve taken root, more and more I give my yields! For rooted into ground, I tap sun’s energy. I make some leaves that multiply like rabbits. Not too easily can you rid your grass of me. Make wine or tea of me. Adopt some great new habits!
