Dancing In the Streets
Dancing in the Streets
I'd love to traverse in the moonit city streets.
Dancing in a flowing nightgown in only my bare feet.
With my friend, the tambourine, its sparkling ribbons
a shimmer, in the air.
The crown of my aromatic gardenia crown, totally
intoxicating my soul and flowing hair.
I'd dance all the way to our small town lake,
Remove my finery, a seductive moonlight swim would
I both relish and take!
