Dance Partners
Trees
look down,
breath catching,
at reflections
mirrored in mountain
river's deep, quiet pools;
those shy wallflower maidens
leaved in sizzle tinted dance gowns
blush scarlet beneath the sun's bold gaze,
accept his hand, swirling to a wind waltz.
