Dance of Tears

She tiptoes on the brink of lost love, Her world declining open emotion While an orchestra echoes her sorrow-- Alone, the ballet dancer curls Not a bright face appears-- just teardrops As the crowd stands in pealed ovation. Contest Brian Strand 263 17 Jan 2017

I view the picture you paint so well and think of the many dance students whose dreams dissolve because emotion erodes the extreme effort it takes to succeed. Your character used emotion to her advantage. Well-done, Ashley.
