To others you were many things To me, you were just dad The only one I wanted The best I could have had You never said “I’m Leaving” You never said “Goodbye” You were gone before I knew it And only God knows why In life I loved you dearly In death I love you still It does not make it easy To know you are not around The only bit of comfort Is to know you are Heaven bound

Such a heartfelt write - I am so so sorry for your loss- my heart goes out to you - I know my dad is dying - it doesn't make it any easier to live with but at least we have time togethr now which I cherish:-( Hugs Hugs jan xx
