Curative Leaves

Under divinities shadow, Rests the tree of life. With aromatic branches, Dissected by a pocket knife. Medicinal veins lushly flow, Carrying remedial cures. A verdant daze ensues, As romantic buds allure. Poetic smoke…recites, The stanzas of cannabis trees. As healthy lungs exclaim, The power of curative leaves. _______________________ Inspired by a Lucky Lopez!!!

Nice write, but personally, I can do without the leaves of the cannabis plant.

Thank you for stopping by and blessing me with some comments Robert. I personally don't use this plant either. But I have a few friends that do. My emphasis for this piece is for it medicinal use far from it's illegal connotations. I hope you enjoyed it...Raul

You still have a magic pen, Raul.!!! What a joy to see you here again. It would be so wonderful to have you come back to stay for awhile!!! I haven't written in a while Carrie, just stopped by to drop a few lines. It's nice to hear from you and pen something again. Lucky is a friend from California, Abe and him are my friends.
