Curative Leaves

Under divinities shadow,
Rests the tree of life.
With aromatic branches,
Dissected by a pocket knife.

Medicinal veins lushly flow,
Carrying remedial cures.
A verdant daze ensues,
As romantic buds allure.

Poetic smoke…recites,
The stanzas of cannabis trees.
As healthy lungs exclaim,
The power of curative leaves.

Thank you for stopping by and blessing me with some comments Robert. I personally don't use this plant either. But I have a few friends that do. My emphasis for this piece is for it medicinal use far from it's illegal connotations. I hope you enjoyed it...Raul

I haven't written in a while Carrie, just stopped by to drop a few lines. It's nice to hear from you and pen something again. Lucky is a friend from California, Abe and him are my friends. He's a musician and a great one at that. I am sure you would love his music. It is a joy to know you are still around the soup, I hope to hear from you soon and God bless. -R
