Crystal Skies
A fluffy haze of pure white floats peacefully above
as tender wispy tendrils sing of antiquated love.
A blanket of cerulean shines carelessly nearby,
embracing skies with unseen tides beneath them as they fly.
A violet warmth of giggles licks horizons on the lake,
behind the forest echoing the shoreline in its wake.
A solitary tree erupts majestically aglow
but reveals no reflection in the shallows down below.
Fireflies on grassy knolls play harmlessly in sight,
and nameless shady creatures glow with curious delight.
Peaceful light retreating as a sigh of time drifts by
in gentle shades of neon stretching far across the sky.
