I am alone with the butterfly I see in my eye How it flutters and fly It too has eyes as the tears run down I I smile O butterfly Fluttering fluttering by I see the tears flow from your eyes Flying high Toward the skies You touch the sun You're not alone Yet you're still flown Whispering in the wind you're yet flying Antenna rise you rose again I spy I see yet another teardrop in your eye Your fluorescent wings fluttering As you sail on by O Butterfly why do you cry 11/24/20 Written words by James Edward Lee Sr © 2020
