Crocodile Tears

He made her life a living hell.
Her heart immune to the death knell
She breaks down and cries
Tears spring from her eyes
Her acting days now serve her well.

well, it's virtually unheard of for me to place a limerick as I don't usually like the form, so hopefully that tells you a lot about the quality of this one! it's very clever, with a dark wit, and it stuck in my mind - congrats on your win in my contest
