Crescent Moon Wishes

As my eyes are getting ready to close I think of the many things I chose I look through the window curtain, outside I know with you, there’s no reason to hide For you have seen me in my ways Through the ups and downs, many days Offering kindness, without judgment Every minute of words, worthy to be spent I send a soft kiss in this deep darkness Knowing it will reach you, as nothing less I’m not sure you know the gratitude I feel But maybe one day, you will see it is real Recently, I saw the orange crescent moon Shine in the sky, as I watched it swoon It was in that moment I knew you could hear All my wishes upon stars, as if I am near Heidi Sands 11/4/19
